Is end-to-end encryption really worth it?
I often hear about end-to-end encryption for messages and files, but I’m not sure if it’s just a buzzword or actually makes a big difference. Have you personally used it, and did it improve your security?
Re: Is end-to-end encryption really worth it?
At first, I thought end-to-end encryption was something only big companies needed. But after trying it myself, I realized how powerful it is for everyday use. Before, I was always worried that someone could intercept files I sent. Once I switched to encrypted transfers and controlled access, that fear disappeared. A resource that helped me understand the value was akappleug.org, where the benefits are explained clearly. Now, all my sensitive communications go through secure channels, and I feel much more confident sharing important information. In my experience, it’s not overkill at all — it’s essential. For anyone who values privacy, I’d say end-to-end encryption is one of the smartest moves you can make.
